At least you can get 3.6 stable! I can't get it ORTHOS stable at all, no matter how much vCORE, vFSB or vMCH I give it.

No matter, this CPU will go into my server/folding box and I'll get another CPU for my main rig.

    "B" are better to overclock than "A" isn't it? The only good cpu's I have seen with an "A" were the L625A, L630A and 1 L637A. Good "B" cpu's were L628B till L632B. I have had an L625A (3.6GHz 1.42V prime), an L628B's (3.6GHz 1.4V) and I am testing another L628B..does 3.2GHz with 1.168V..still testing

Are you being serious? (I couldn't tell)

If true, the April 22 price cuts would seem to make the E6700 the chip to get (multi aside). Isn't the E6700 expected to drop ~37% (to $316), whereas the E6600 is only expected to drop ~27% (to $183).

My L628A wont be stable at 400mhz not even with 1.60v

Max I got it stable was 333mhz LOL! Tried 350mhz FSB and nothing, orthos fails, not even with 1.40v.
I dont know if my RAM is holding me back, but Im pretty sure is my CPU the one that sucks.

    my 6600 week 37A does 3600Mhz stable at 1.44v but >3600Mhz,it eats voltages like hell,require 1.6v for 3700mhz stable.

As long as you can do 3600 400x9 with less than 1.45 you are fine
