FX70 running at 15x200 stock voltage (motherboard overvolts a tad).

Zalman 9700NT rotated so that the fan exausts towards the rear of the case. Temps are full load. Same as with Prime95 and OGR-25p2

Sure, I will post some this evening after work.

Temps on the CPU are great but the chipset cooler, you can cook eggs on it!

Already in the works . I had to make sure, but the Swiftech Apogee GT will fit with no problems. I will be relocating the 2 hard drives to the upper drive rails. I will remove the lower hard drive racks and put the Radiator and pump down there. I probably wont start this until the Quad Cores for FX come out.

Well new bios chip arrived to day and all seems to be working well.

My Enermax Liberty 620 isnt quite up to the task. The system is stable, but the 12v is lagging down to about 11.5v.

    I ordered a Silverstone OP750 which has a 60amp 12v Line. Should be more than enough when I add a second 7950gt.

Not yet but when they come out, you can be sure Ill buy a pair. Got some change saved up already. From what I read, Opterons and L1 FXs are to get the initial release, so I will be ready. I will probably switch to XP64 at that point for the benefit of NUMA.

I am working on getting a Swiftech wc setup ready as well when they come in. I am running dual 9700NTs on it right now.

I have that same case. I moved hd's to the upper bays and cleared the bottom for the rad and pump. I'm using the pa160 with a D5 pump that all fits and works very nicely. Also using the Apogee block. I'm considering upgrading to the GTX since swiftech says it is compatible with 754/939/940's.

Ah understood. I don't care for Intel products. I havent owned an intel since the Celeron 300a/BH6 days. I do alot of number crunching and well even the Core2Duo isn't faster than an A64 in what I run. Not to mention the L1 platform has upgrade to quad/octo (so says an AMD slideshow from CEBIT) capabilities. This will probably be the last major platform I build for a good while. It has everything that I need to keep me goin for a long time.

    Meh!

I can't believe this thread is still alive.

Well, in my case, I use both brands, Intel and AMD. I don't want to lean to one side.

By 1 cpu you mean 2 cores? Thats all Home Premium supports.

From what I have read, Ultimate only supports 4 cores too.

Yay more reasons to stay with XP

Does anyone know why cpu-z shows this Asus board has a 570 SLI nb/sb?
Or is this just a bug between Vista 64bit and cpu-z?

    No bug.

Its because there are 2 570 SLI Chips on the board (right next to each other under that huge copper heatsink. Look at my illustration below.
The 570 is a single chip solution, whereas the 590 is a 2 chip solution.

    Thanks,
So does it matter as to which nVidia drivers to use? 680a or nForce 570 SLI/570/550 AMD..........it looks like they are the same drivers.
