    (abit 680i or Asus P5N32-E SLI, nForce-680i)

bought evga 680i ar from 2 dys applied for a replacement 4 a1 and they said no because I live in Sweden
    no lifetime warranty in se

so I've started an application to return the product and get

    (abit 680i or Asus P5N32-E SLI, nForce-680i)
(abit AB9 QuadGT or abit ab9 pro or asus Commando)
    (MSI P6N SLI Platinum, nForce-650i orAsus P5N-E SLI, nForce-650i )

evga 680i or abit 680i dey are the sem price in sweden .

the problem is the cost is crazy in Sweden for example the difference between

abit quadroGT and abit 680i or evga 680i is 600kr =70 dollar

and Asus P5N32-E SLI, nForce-680i cheaper 10 dollar than abit quadroGT

    asus 650i or abit 650 Fatal1ty or msi 650 cheaper than ds3 rv3

AquadroGT cheaper 20 dollar than BIT AW9D-MAX

The rewievs on the internet are making it even worse, so I'm having a

hard time deciding, so I need advice not including life time warranty,

price etc because it's different in Sweden. And about SLI, I'm not thinking

about it in the near future, but it's nice to have the option. The important

for me now is stabile, very fast and 100% overclocking board. And that it

works with all of my hardware.

my system e4300 am plenning to oc at lest to 3200 ghz
    Kingston ValueR. DDR2 PC6400 2048MB CL5 1.8
    Creative SB X-Fi - Fatal1ty FPS PCI,64MB
    inoo3d 8800gtx
    22 tft lcd
    Thermaltake Toughpower 850W

Is there something wrong with ya EVGA board that you want a replacement ? Have you wrote to EVGA directly or was it via your local dealer, I had to ship my EVGA to Germany to get it RMA'd and once too for a step up , which they gladly did...

If you really need SLI go for Asus P5N32-E plus board, it's a hybrid chipset that performs on par with it's big brother the 680I but seems to have less buggs ( although most are solved via the latest biosses ). I have a striekr baord, pretty pleased with it but it's so damn expensive in fact too expensive as it' performs as any other board with the same chipset... max FSB I got with laods of extra cooling was 475Mhz, booted straight from bios with my E6600...

In case you don't need SLI I would opt for a 965 type mobo a la P5B dlx or Abit Quad GT, which for me is together with my P5W (975) the most stable chipset for core2. Also it's much easier to setup than the Nvidia competition as the latter need some skills to get flying...

You need really a bit of luck with no matter what type mobo you buy, ya neighbour can buy the same mobo and get better clocks out of it.

so for SLI go for Asus P5N32-E Plus ( beter capacitors then the non plus version, bu thybrid chipset)

non SLI : Asus P5B Dlx or Commando, Abit QuadGT,...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I would say P5N32-E SLI, 680i chipset, the caps are a sales gimmick. Been in the industry for a LONG time with 1000+ systems working 24/7 I have yet to see cap failure. Although a few years ago there was issues with some caps on I think ABIT boards. I have the plus too and I see pretty much no difference but my non plus works at a higher FSB with less voltage on the chipset. Your luck may be different.

Non Sli I prefer the P5W64 Pro which is 975.
