>DEVIL K-ce: Only 1M run ?
>rick_fx: Did you run any 32M?
Because I lost my 1GB x 2 memory, will try these after get a new 1GB pair.
Here is a quick try of 8M at 2m05.063s with left over LN2. My gaol is to get 2m3..s![]()
>Brettbeck:CPU pot a rectangle shape?
This is a special copper pot made by TAM when we were tring to OC Prescott 2.8A to over 5.5G. It is very good to minimize temerature swing..
>Stapler: what's the cold bug?
The best range is -130 - 135C with this pot & my thermometer reading, possible to bench PI at -140C but often freeze when OS becomes idle.
>ent: Any hopes for some new X6800 benches from Team Japan?
>SoF: 9.563s is almost the same as what was done on cebit by some german guys together with some XS people - but on E6800
It is my OC policy that I always bench mid-range class for aiming to get as close as the highest one![]()
>dinos22: what is the significance of..
Nothing in particular just courtesy and information only![]()
By the way, we are now benching deeply into Core-36GP at ranking at tanuki.
It is a quite dangerous challenge that we are losing many HW![]()

Congratulations to New Beetle. I can't say this enough times, but the sheer effort that you folks from Japan put into these benches are very readily clear in the results. It's very rare to see runs that are as well put together.
36GP looks fun...![]()

One question though: Have you tried to shut-down the second core? It should yield a little better overclock![]()

Disabling a core can or can't help... I mean, if you disable a core, the load is focused on only 1 core, but with 2 cores enables, the whole load is shared between core #0 and core #1... Then, it depends on the quality of both cores: if the 2 cores are of equivalent quality, disabling one of both isn't the good way... Spi is a single-threaded app, and with 2 cores enable, the shared load can help getting the max benchable clocks.
