I wonder if it has something to do with they way your rads are so close?
Probably because it's such a tight fit in the case. I have the fans on the outside as well with the rads on the inside. If I pull cool air from the outside and push it into the case temps are pretty good. If I do the opposite they are quite high. Last night I averaged about 36c on the CPU, 37c on the MB, and 55/50 on the GPUs under load, with an ambient of 22c. When I switched the fans to pull the temperatures shot up to 43c on CPU, 45c on MB, and 69/60 on the GPUs.

Sorry guys, I'll fix the pics today. Host capped it so I'll host them elsewhere.

    Nope I don't. ??

    ------------

I finished up all of the wiring this weekend. I only need to install the last fan controller and the drive bay covers and then it's done. I'll post some good pics from all angles shortly.

My modular power supply was acting up so I ditched it for an OCZ 1000w. The OCZ is the PSU on the right....check out how small it is.

In comparison the OCZ fits beautifully in a TJ07 with two rads down below giving you a bit more space to work with the cables. On the flipside the fan is noisier than the Silverstone STF850 so it's a bit of a trade off.

Personally, I'm surprised they could jam a 1000w power supply into that unit. It's damn small.

You can comb your hair in this baby!

Lots of room for cables. The PCI-E cables are the red ones....enough for an SLI setup.

Drilled a hole at the back of the MB and inserted a gromet to run the MB cable through. Trying to keep the cabling job nice and clean.

Mounted the MB cable on the tray using a couple of clamps.

    The rear cabling job....still a work-in-progress.

I still have a couple of rear fans to mount and have to replace the top two 120mm fans. Those 92cfm Aerocools are pretty loud when pressed up against the grill....going with something a bit quieter.

Got one of these coming today and then a bit of lighting to install and that should do it.

Last item on the to do list, lighting.

Your so worried about wiring but then you use those ugly ass cable sleeves. They are big, bulky, and ugly compared to the rest of your rig.

I love the way your rig looks. And I've been very impressed with the way you managed to mount everything internally. You've put a lot of work and money into it and then you throw those on your wires. Completely ruins the look.

Ok, I'm done harping on your cable management.

LOL...made me laugh!!! The cables are red and I don't have any sleeving, but I don't necessarily disagree with you. I'll yank it tonight and repost some pics in the next few days.

You can pick them up in any local hardware store in just about any size. If I recall those brackets are 2" L brackets, might be 2.5". I can double check for you if you need to know as I'm not 100% positive on the size. The ones I picked up have a longer hole where the reservoir is mounted with it's single bolt (if you look at the larger version of my avatar pic you can see it). That allowed me to position the reservoirs perfectly and surprisingly, with the two EKs linked together it fit perfectly. Didn't have to drill any holes except to mount the brackets on the sides of the cage.

I also bought a big bag of tiny little L brackets that allowed me to easily bolt the hard drives on to the side of the 5.25" cage and use a gromet to reduce noise....pics coming soon. I originally mounted the hard drives up top, but decide to move the DVD to the top bay and mounted the disks on the outside of the cage, backside of the PC. I was concered about temps so I monitored them with case panels off/on and it made very little difference to disk temps. Technically I could mount 2 more drives on the other side of the cage, but I really don't need 4 disks, especially considering how large they are nowadays.

The local hardware store has everything you need, just have to be a little creative in your design and thinking.

I get all of my remaining hardware today so I'll be mounting the lighting tonight and putting up some final pics.

Btw guys, I ripped off those black tubes as per your requests. lol

LOL I got them at Home Depot. They have a great selection of little parts like that. I ran into that 'what are you using it for' scenario several times myself. When you say PC they look utterly confused. lol

    masaville,
what is that fan controller you've got coming? is it the sunbeam rheobus without any marking or something different? and where/what are those cable holders on the back of the MB tray? I was going to duct tape my extra wires on!
    Thanks

Lian-li version apparently, same thing bas the sunbeam, but a different faceplate from all I can tell. Performance-pcs.com sells it. There are several versions as well. The one I ordered is black with silver knobs and no markings. Didn't come in today, but scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

You can buy those plastic clips at any hardware store (Home Depot, Rona, etc.) They stick on and are great for cleaning up the excess cables you don't use. There are a number of sizes available as well so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a combination that works for you. They're great for keeping cables nice and tidy.

Thanks! Final pics in the next day or two with some lighting installed. Going to try a variation of lights to see what's best. I currently have some green, blue, and UV only lights so it will be interesting to see how the interior looks with two color liquids. The liquid is also UV reflective.

    OK ..........back tracked.................pardon me.....my bad.

I would say it is more than usable considering air GTXs are know to run 65C at idle.

They're actual very quiet, especially when pressed up against the rad. I tried 5 other brands of fans and when pressed against the rad they sounded like hovercrafts. lol

They have a good cfm to noise ratio.

    Ambient right now is 23.2c.

CPUs idle at 33c and GPUs at 46/43 with case sides on. HDs don't get any hotter mounted on the side than they do in the bay.

Haven't loaded it with it all together yet so I'll post that later.
