I use exactly the same sticks. They are compatible with this board, BUT:
    - don't use rated volts.
    - they are crap, they barely make rated timings @ rated freq @ rated volts - at 2.1 V they would burn a hole in my desk. It has been impossible for me to run them at 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1 V stable. They run 4-4-4-12 stable at 2.0 V, but hot like hell, i was really afraid about them... get yourself a fan or better buy some G.Skill (IIRC they are about the same price).

0902 is out and its adventully the bios that fixes Vcore above 1,6V.
Now i Can get also 1,65V and its real!

This ASUS board isnt so bad after all

I might even say, that im very pleased with my board.
Specially with memory timings on my board.
D9DQW can not do stable 3-3-3 840mhz 1T on every board you know.
Awesome memory board indeed. Also 500FSB with E6300 is not bad

Does 0902 really have such a big drop in voltage? My E6600 runs 3600MHz at 1.35v according to Speedfan & Everest, 1.43v set in BIOS. It'd probably be fine at 1.43v but 1.33-1.35 is awfully low.
Also, I ran 3200 (400x8) at 1.2v according to Speedfan & EvU fully stable (Orthos, prime, you name it). Again it feels weird.
Temperatures indicate a stronger voltage than 0602 at 1.3v (never even tried 1.2v with it) being total 10-13 degrees celsius higher now than before.

    Everest Ultimate Beta For P5N32

All users of P5N32-E SLI and P5N32-E SLI Plus as well as Striker Extreme, who use Everest Ultimate, need to be aware that there is a fault in monitoring Vcore. I worked with Fiery at Lavalys and he has a beta version that fixes this issue. It is available here http://www.lavalys.com/beta/everestu...dpf4mzx0gd.zip

The full thread is here http://www.lavalys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2204

Be aware that CPUz does not report the Vcore acurately either.m Read the thread for more info. Hope this helps.

on asus website if you look into the specifications tab the + plus series board is a 650 chipset...not a 680 and thats coming directly from Asus themselves.

I just hade some serious bios flashing issues with this board:

First the board would not post after putting my new mem sticks (Patriot 800 CL4 llk 2x1GB), so i shut it down, on again... and it said "BIOS checksum bad" and prompt to insert ASUS support CD to recover the bios... After some experiments, several bad flashes and borrowing a BIOS programmator from a firend of mine I hav found out that:
    - ASUS support CD contains bios 0101 (shipped version is 0302, newest is 0902); 0101 is probably not compatible with this board. I tried several times to flash it and it always stops at byte 0xFFFF8. Probably a CD can be made from ASUS original CD that contains whatever bios you want, or probably you could name some newer bios "0101.bin" to get emergency flashing to work.
    - If a message apperas saying "BIOS checksum bad" you should NOT use ASUS support CD, try removing the battery and putting CLRTC jumper on and leaving the board for several hours, sometimes it would boot.

Has any one noticed voltage spikes with the 0902 bios?
I was on it for about 2 days and then I saw it. For about 12 secs Asus Probe showed voltage spikes on my NB, the SB adn the rams....image how it felt when you suddenly see 4.03V on your DIMM V

    Non-plus.
Maybe they have a new revision of CD... after I gave the flash programmator back to that friend I tried to flash 0101 from a floppy... the board does not post. I RMAed, welcome to 14 work days without a computer... I'm considering buying some cheap board and selling it when I get my P5N32-E back form RMA.

I'm running 0903 right now and all seems fine.

With my previous oc, i can run it with less voltage then before.

Orthos blend is running as i type (2hrs n counting).

though i don't know exactly what had been fixed in this bios release, i only know that i can run the exact same OC from 0902 with less Vcore in 0903 =)

    eg.

    E6600 @ 3.2GHz (400x8):
    [0902]
vcore - set 1.4125v (shows as 1.39 in BIOS n Probe, less is supplied to cpu (-0.08)
only 1.31v is supplied to cpu
    [0903]
vcore - set 1.4000v (shows as 1.38 in BIOS and Probe, less is supplied to cpu again (-0.08)
so only 1.30V is supplied to cpu
the issue about the recent asus 680i bios's adding 0.08 to their sensor values for VCORE were discovered by Fiery, over at the Lavalys forums.

So that means actual vcore is about 0.1 less then what is displayed in Probe or Hardware Monitor or EVEREST Ultimate Beta 0915+.

Everest Ultimate Beta 883 will display the ACTUAL SUPPLIED vcore values.

LOL, i dont even know if i'm making any sense anymore..

Point was, 0903 seems to be able to get my same OC from 0902 with less Vcore, i havent tested with even lower vcore values yet, but i will get to that.. =)

I'm having a bit of an issue here.
I have my watercooling set running (CPU+NB+GPU) and idle I'm doing about 30degrees on 1,4v in BIOS. That's ok I guess but when running Orthos it's slowly increasing to about 51 degrees. over 20 degrees difference between idle and stressed is too much for my comfort. What would be the most plausible cause for this?
    - waterblock not tight enough?
    - not 100% flat IHS?
    - max. capacity reached for radiator (dual 120mm Black ICE)
    - Bad flow?

I'm having a "B" type chip so they tend to get a bit warmer but this difference is not ok.

I'm thinking of lapping the IHS and re-applying the blocks but your thoughts on this are appreciated.

P.S. I should prolly (also) post this in the liquid cooling section.

I'm having the same problem, with a 6600 L632B. I used to have a E6600 L629B, and with watercooling w/o any overclock I had 22º/25º(core0/core1) in idle and 33º/35º in full load. My problem with the new L632B is that even with undervoltage, about 1,1v on vcore, it gets to 33/36 in idle without any overclock. It's about the same my old one but in full load!!!
What in the world is going on? I already checked the waterblock twice, and that isn't the problem. Any thoughts?

Anyone has any prob running D9 fat bodies on this board? I've got a pair of Corsair 8000UL rated at 1000Mhz 5-4-4-9 but simply won't run at 1000Mhz no matter what settings I use 1T, 2T, 5-5-5-15...nothing works

it runs rock stable with 2.2V 900Mhz 4-3-3-7 1T though

I got 1000mhz with my D9Dqw, but timings were 5-5-5-15-22-2T and they ran with high voltage. So its not good.

Fatbodys are better to run with 800-900 and very tight timings.
I can run 800-900mhz 3-3-3-7-9-1T with only increasing voltage a little from everyday settings.

Best i have done is 840mhz 3-2-2-1T In games and Spi it is better then 1200mhz with 5-4-4-2T

So run fatties with tight timings instead running high frequences!

Thanks for the tip. What voltages were you running at when u ran 900Mhz 3-3-3 and at 840Mhz?

I have 0903 Bios as well but my Gskill D9's run fine at 1000mhz 4-4-4-12 @2,1v

I might try the 3-3-3-x timings and see what the difference is.
