    test under single stage

CPU vcore lower to bios 1.575v, windows 1.52v
    CPU= FSB 424x9 = 3.8G
ohter hardwares are the same as before

    1 32M OK

    dual 32M passed too

However i got problem here, with FSB 424, once 3Dmark06 stated system restarted. adding extra vcore no help... i think it is FSB wall...
    lower to 420x9

rest 3Dmark passed too... should I call GG? (too much DOTA for me...)

    great price,great overclock =
only problem is fsb wall... i did try FSB266 mode but no help at all. if it is E6400, it should easy to 4G under SS..... BUT once i set it at FSB450... no post, FSB440 = load windows and BSOD, FSB430 = windows ok but can't do jack....
but still.. 120... what do you want from it hahaha
you pay waht you get for ma!!!

    GG HF

When did Fry's sell the BOX E4300 with a cheap ECS board combo for $120? The cheapest I remembered is ~$150 with a tray CPU.
    Machine 1:
    ASUS P5K Premium

    G.Skill F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ @ 540MHz (5-5-5-15) @ 2.15v
    MSI 7900GS
    Antec TruePower Trio 550

    Machine 2:
    ASUS P5K Pro
    Q9450 (L803B436) @ 450*8 @ 1.3v
Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + 120mm Panaflo medium

im assuming hes calculating the cost without the motherboard's value

And this is the retail version which was for $159 on the 2/23. Maybe Denny factored out what he sold the mobo for? I don't see a 4300 deal in my local Frys ad today.

Denny, what is the story on the Dual SuperPi scores? The ones done at 3.6ghz are faster than the ones at 3.82ghz? Memory speed not 1:1 on the 3.82ghz run?

FSB wall at >420+ seems like a pretty good deal since you have the 9 multi. That should give you more speed than your average e6400 which is slightly more expensive.

Got me impressed, perhaps you should try out the 1333 strap. Looks like a pretty competitive CPU, especially for a 4300.

Someone call Child Protective Services. Lol.

I wonder how many people try to take back the motherboard part of the combo deal. I'd settle for a store credit.

Looks like a bargain. I wish I had a Fry's around me, I hate driving to Atlanta just to go to the store.

Seems like a lot of these have the FSB wall. You should have been able to go over 4ghz under phase like you said if it wasn't for this obstacle. Oh well, not bad for cheap.
