    Project: Maxit Monsta

This is one i did for the "lads magazine" Maxit

The only criteria was it had to be yellow and black with all components supplied by Maxit themselves which consisted of the following and all parts were cut free hand with a fret saw...

    Yellow Wavemaster
    Asus P5B Deluxe
    Conroe 2.4GHz
    2x Mushkin XP2-8000
    XFX Geforce 7900GT
    Be Quiet BQT ES-700W PSU

Nice case... Im just afraid that the rad grill is restricting airflow/creating noise due to turbulence in the air.

I like the theme though... yellow and black.

Most of you remember my old setup with the Lian Li PC7B & Tri-Rad. That was a little OTT so I decided for something a bit on the conservative side.

So I went air, and lasted about a week before I had a major craving for water again. One thing I'll say, when you've gone water there is no turning back.

Just a small little setup. Getting average temps, comparable to my old system.

@ 3.5GHz 1.48v Real I'm getting around 60/60*C WCG, and the paste hasn't settled yet.

    Garu,

You better put a rubber grommet in that hole where your tubing exit/enters your case to protect the tubing, the edges of the hole might be sharp.

Those 2 blue fans in the front of your case that are blowing at your harddisks,
what size and make are they?

Those look perfect for cooling RAM.

I can't seem to find good pair grommets, I tired local hardware stores... Which ones do you suggest? As you can see, I'm using 1/2" ID Tygon tubing.

Those 2 blue fans are actually blowing towards the motherboard. My mb temp used to be 45C idle. With those blowing it dropped to 34C idle.
Those are some no name brand fan I picked it from Ebay along with case mods from the guy called Thermalmaster. I'm not sure he still carries them.

Tygon and UV green dye... I've had that, you don't want to know what your tubing looks like after let's say, 5 months or so

    Nice build though
