Many thanks. I had to install JMicron driver to enable JMicron SATA. After I installed AHCI for the Intel SATA, I was then able to use your technique to remove the JMicron driver and installed the Standard dual channel IDE driver.
Hope this will improve my DVD burning process!!!
The Soundmax driver you linked is also newer than the one I have!!!
