SuperTalent Value Ram For the Win

Still testing, will have much more results later. This is much more than I was expecting from a $124 2x1gb DDR667 value kit. It beats out my Gskill DDR800 that max's at 860. Please keep in mind I got them in today and am just starting to really mess with them.

    DDR900 2.1V 5-5-5-15
    DDR800 2.1V 4-4-4-12

Please don't bash me as this is a value kit not a comparison to Micron D9.

This was from the online deals and sale section.

Don't worry about that. Not everyone has a big pocketbook. I am glad your ram is working out.

If you don't have a fan on the ram I would suggest putting one on them. I would also suggest running prime on blend for stability of it.

THX for the advise. Although the ram is not even warm if I keep my hand on it. I think that it is gettingenough airflow since I modded the case with two 120mm fans in the front. As far as prime goes, I am still going to work on it. I was playing supreme commander.

Is two late yoons on the fron good enough to keep me from having to put a fan on the ram. One is about 8 inches before it blowing air from the front from under the cd-dvd burner. The other is at the bottom.
EDITED: Found a camera lying around. This alright for airflow to RAM?

Sorry Guys, but DDR900 is the max is it going to hit on 5-5-5-15. I really don't want to go looser on the timings and it will not boot windows at 2.2V. I am thinking it is probablty best for me to leave it at 4-4-4-12. Besides that, my PSU is making a whine with the extra voltage, and that can't be a good thing..... it's an Enhace 500W, the same one as the silverstone 500W 35A 3 V35 5V The rails are 18A 18A.

It's Ok , you can have your DDR900 . Hehe, have some new firestixs that rock. I put the Super Talent in a customers build as it was originally intended. I am limited by my E6400 that max's out at 3.2GHZ tops . Oh well, change it to Firestixs for the win.

Nope, the DDR-1000 Kit. It is doing that at 2.1V. Actually so far it is up to 1 hour prime stable at 4-4-4-8 2.1V and the same speed as the picture above.

Snap, firestix may be nice but at just $235 + shipping for 4 gigs I think this just solidified my decision to snag this super talent and build a nice budget vista e4300 rig.
