should I still try for greater than 2.3V vdimm on 2:3@1004mhz, because it wasnt working on 2.3V- is the vdimm undervolted as well?

are the 3/11/7/13 sub-timings OK for DDR1000 speeds and 2.50Vdimm?
Nothing anymore
how about for 2GB ddr2-1000 ZX kit? the sticker says 2.3V-2.4V, but does it really need that much to run @ 1000 with relaxed 5-5-5-15 timings? because it limits me in OC'ing more. right now its at 800 @ 4-4-4-10.
What are the sub-timings for F2-8000-PUH2-2GBHZ????????
Thanks,
Mel

Hi,
my board is a ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi and my RAM are two sticks of G.Skill F2-6400CL5-1GBNQ.
With the automatic and default BIOS Settings i have no problems but last time i applied the here postet recommended settings and were unable to pass for example the Memtest memory test or the Windows memory test.
Can anybody help me with that?

Perhaps you can tell my in which way these Settings differ from the auto/default settings?!

Hello, i am using the Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi/AP + GSkill F2-6400CL4D-2GBPK,
but i found that my system was Xtreme Unstable, i always got the BsoD while playing games or even just chating in MSN, i tried to follow the first page to setup my BIOS, but i have no luck, the system still very unstable, my timings are 4-4-4-12-2-42-10-10-10-10 ( as page 1 ),tested under 1.9V, 1.95V and 2.00V memory voltage, but didn't see any difference, i hope someone or G.S Technician can help me out, Thank you.
for the p5b deluxe, does it run in dual channel if you use A1/A2(yellow/black), or A1/B1 (both yellows)

ok....here's my test, the first stick of my memory can finished the quick testOriginally Posted by G.S Technician
(100% means the quick test in memtest), i will try to run it few more hours to see if it is 100% perfect.
but the second stick of my memory can't finish the quick test, it start to report error before it reach 10%, so i stop to test it as i know this stick of memory must be defected, i had uploaded an image,
so what do i need to do now, thank you

I have a question...
Im trying to hit 3ghz with my e6300 (thread), and Im not sure if its the ram or something else, but over 420mhz my system is horribly unstable. I have the F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ ram, and its at 1.95v at your recommended settings, only its running DDR2-840. What is the max speed/voltage that this ram will be stable?
EDIT:: I was messing around, and at 2.25v it will boot with DDR2-1050, no idea if it was stable.

Hello,
since a few days i'm owner of the F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ which i installed on my P5B deluxe (lastest BIOS Version 1004).
My Problem:
Memtest Errors when i use these settings ( 2 x GBNQ modules)
DDR2 800,1.9v or 2,0v 5-5-5-15-4-42-3-11-7-13
When i test the modules seperate, Memtest runs with no errors(3runs).
Is that a problem of the P965 chipset?
Greetings Tobias
(excuse my bad english)
Well, what do you think is the most speed I can get out of it? And what voltages/timings?Originally Posted by G.S Technician
Hiya G.S Tech! First off I want to say I have 2 1GB sticks of your G.Skill DDR2 800 HZ and I'm happy as a pig in ... well, you know ...
I've already passed Memtest86+ (10 passes at each speed) @ 800 (3-3-3-9 @ 2.3V), 1000 (4-4-4-10 2.35V) & 1100 (5-5-5-15 @ 2.4V). And yes, I do have active cooling. OCZ memory cooler. I think I might even try these at reduced voltages, but I think my intent (once I figure out my CPU OC) is to run somewhere between 800 & 900, unless I get some good benchmarks running a divider.
In all three instances I used 4-42-10-10-10-10 sub-timings. A few questions:
Would I be better at 3-3-3-8 at 800?
And what sub-timings would be optimal at each speed?
Oh, I'm running a E6400 Conroe B2 on my P5B Deluxe (0910 bios).
Again, this is some GREAT RAM!!! I am so very pleased with the initial results!
