Anyone have the link when this was shown using small square pieces of glass on a table? Each piece of glass was placed inside a tablet. Each piece of glass has a specific function like weather reports, photo album, etc...

There is a different company somewhere that uses a projector and steam as a screen. They had an "touch the steam" control aswell. Unfortunately I forgot what it was called, but that one is at least as good.

Wow also impressive is which hardware moves that. Even with the whole Google Earth database cached on local discs it zooms really fast. And the Gaudi photographs movement is really smooth.

Thats very american. Of course moving your finger is very hard work. You can even loose some calories (that would be pitty). I have better idea: If you make a computer which is controled by your jaws, you wouldnt need to make breaks between meals.

while I can see this would be a strange thing to use for long periods of time... I can see some areas where it would be absolutly amazing to have.

like animation, art, digital photo editing, video editing, and things like that.

too many people are just too use to sitting in front of a screen doing little more then moving thier wrist.
so it would take awhile to get some real converts, but for artists and such, its very very easy to see how this would be a dream come true.

I myself am an artist, and for me, this thing would be heaven...
to remove the limitations of mice and keyboards, and get a much more streamlined ability to just "do" what you need to... without having to move through endless windows and options... it would greatly improve ones ability to be creative, without having to stop and think about the technical aspect of things...

Some paralyzed people DO have a chip put into their brain which allows them to move a cursor on a computer, but not much else

GNOME is visible on one part of the video, so its probably running on a Dual Head Linux computer

I have absolutely no problems using my fingers, however I want more performance and greater speed
and I have no problem going to use the Command interface to get something done.
