so if i run my 90nm sempron at 90c and it's prime stable, i'm not damaging it?
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

Life span will be greatly reduced for sure. 90c is too much IMO, even for a poor sempron

he probably forgot about electron migration or figured it wasn't a significant factor.
Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was

Or maybe it's impossible to have a sempron prime stable at 90c, and that was the point he was making.

It will not run dual mprime stable up to 90 C. So if you follow my posting and only up frequency and voltage as long as you are mpriming away you are safe.

thanks for taking the plunge.. Great cost-performance ratio.
Personally I'm going to wait for a 65nm opty with a non funky multi and 2x1 mb l2.

    VERY nice lap job, btw.

Yeah, DryIce is definite possibility. Just have to find the time for it. Hoping this weekend, but SuperBowl and other duties may take precedent.

Here is a pic of Brisbane info. Note in the pic you can see the shoddy quality of flatness on the ihs:

Here is after a little lap action:

Hopefully I'll have time to finish my new dice pot Saturday. She wont be pretty but will get the job done. Still have to prep the mobo also. On a side note, The CpuZ shot does indeed show the wrong voltage. Actual is 1.5v but have not yet tried to see how much I actually need for 3ghz. Might need less, or maybe 1.5 just happened to work. Wanted to work on lapping the ihs first.Still I AM NOT complaining. Gotta love a dirt cheap cpu doing 3ghz...
