    32M SPi on "F" E6600

Here is CPU shot of "F" E6600 that is relatively rare.

    And I run 32M pi with winter-advantaged air-cooling.

The photo of setting is here.

To my impression, "F" E6600 might be much low temp in action than "B" E6600. But, this is just a random sample. Don't be conclusive. I didn't modded Vcore, but more voltage seems to be set. I'm waiting for DFI 965X board for more perfomance on this CPU.

Yes, it's plain retail box. Check Coretemp shot. Asus probe II indicated cpu temp around 18C on idle, 33C on full-load.

Almost 4.2Ghz on "air" and 32M stable, that's looking good!! Will wait for some more results with "F" revisions out there.

Nice clocks with cold air, not many 'F's have shown up, but yours is an interesting sample, temp-wise.

Your ram obviously benefit from the ambient temp as well, what vdimm for 465 3-3-3-4 ?

Actually, vdimm has been modded, and it was on the screenshot, 2.75v. Memory used was A-DATA 6400 Extreme Edition 512M X 2.

CPU-Z shot is on the screen. Usually I'm not make validation, but I'll do next time. Weather forecast said that it would be very cold this weekends. I'm waiting now.

how does it perform on normal room temp ~20C

do you have the ability to pick steppings or you just got lucky and received an odd one

At now, I set 3.3g with 1.30v. CPU temp is around 32-35C with 20-22C ambient. I tested 3.6g with 1.37-8v, but 3.3g is pretty much satisfactory for me. OC is just a hobby to me.

Generally, in Korea, retailers do not accept any request about CPU stepping from customers. They hate such a demand extremely. No connection, no handpicking. I'm disconnected. This is just a chance. I was also surprised when I received the chip. What the F... ?!?
