    *Update - Upon closer inspection (for shipping damages, thx inzer890), the plastic pin w/ spring tensioner on the SB was broken, hence limited contact being made with the heatsink. Just the tip was broken off so it looked like it was secure, but in actuality, was applying zero tension. After resolving the contact issue, everything seemed stable until I began "adjusting" my slightly modded fastener and now no post. lol

    Could damage to the SB occured as a result from the limited contact with the heatsink?

    Also, how delicate is the SB to both temp and physical pressure? It was late and I was a bit rambunctious while adjusting the tension on my mod, so I assume I could have introduced a new problem to my equation.

    Btw, board seemed completely stable while running it for a few hours before my little setback.
