    A-Data 6400 Vitesta Extreme Edition

    4-4-4-4, 425MHz 2,15V 24/7

    So its safe to run 2.3-2.4V 24/7...maybe I can push them more then. It would be nice to drop to 3-4-3-4 etc.

    It depends on your memories. If they dont get to hot you may increase vdimm but if 4-4-4-4 is the minimal values for that frequency, i think you wont be able to tight those timings to 3-4-3-4 just because you are increasing vdimm...

    D9GKX, I understand (never taken the spreaders off). They run hot without active cooling (65C) so I have a 120mm fan over them, peak at about 38C like that. Can drop the volts to 2.1v if I go down to around 450MHz, but they rock with the E6700 at 360x10 running 2:3 for 540 and all is sweet.

    I have not tryed to tight timings more then this!
    The are rated to run 400MHz, 4-4-4-12, 2+-0.1V if you look at the label!

    The most important timings for performance are the 3 first values. The others are to stabilize. Look for the tighest timings with rated frequency and voltage.

    Then start from here looking to the best relation between voltage, MHz and performance. I would do this way if i were you...

    I have Teamgroup Xtreem DDR2-667 3-3-3-8. 2.0v-2.2v rated in the label. But i am able to work with no errors in Orthos or win memtest with DDR2-850 3-3-3-8 @ 2.25v...

    Now i'm trying to find the best timings and voltage to set them in DDR2-1000 but i'm with some problems. I have to work harder... heheh

    edit;
    Only now i've seen the link you posted...
    This depends of many things... Board, cpu, BIOS version, etc...

    As you see in my case, i didnt need to increase vdimm too much to increase mem frequency from 667 to 850 keeping same timings...
