    Commando meet E6400 on mini-cascade @ 4.400Mhz

I'm doing a mini-review of the Asus Commando, by curiosity I decid to mount it on the Mini-Cascde with a retail E6400.

Motherboard is unmod, put 1.80v (1.85 undervolts to 1.77v) here is the bio screen:

Well, first attempt : 106% superpi benchable

May the CPU will go higger, I think the limit is the memory (using the unexpensive Team Group PC2-5300) I will try with the Corsairs C3 later

I don't know if it is a WR - anyway here it is a CPU-z validation at 4.400 Mhz

Next I will test the motherbaord with QX6700 - let's see how far can it go

Hi Rom - Iit's to soon to have a firm conclusion, using it just for a few hours - but the motherboard have a lot of potential

Let's see how it goes with quad-cores ..

I'm not an expert on the p5b deluxe but it seems verey very similiar to the commando. So besides Solid caps what other special goodies does Commando bring (that are not seen in p5b delux)

even my E6400 on a single stage did 4.667 ghz, and was stable at 4.4 ghz, for 3dmark and such, and topped out at 4.48 ghz for 1M and such.

you can get alot more from a E6400 and cascade.

Niiice, Pedro! I hope your chip has more FSB leg room left in there.... What do you think? Have you tried to push it further yet?

The FSB limit is in the motherboard - around 550Mhz - like Rol-Co state above.

Already tested with X6800 with the same result - stop at 550Mhz..
