Man... such a huge waste that Thermalright doesn't release some kind of bracket or adapter plate. I bet their sales would be so much better if it were compatible with the 8800 series. And I've never felt the outright need to cool the mem chips anyways.

    taken from TR HR03 FAQs

    Question 1:
Can I install HR-03 on any of the Nvidia 8800 series?

    Answer:
Current adapter that comes with the HR-03 will not allow it to be installed on any of the 8800 series due to the larger GPU IHS and mounting holes being out of range. However, an adapter is in the works to fix all that.

I have been eyeing out this cooler, and I have seen some excellent results before. That was a huge drop in temps you managed to pull there guess2098! Too bad about your other card though
What fan and what fan speeds did you use for this test?
By the way, I e-mailed Thermalright asking about mounting brackets for the 8800s, here's the answer I got:

    Dear Frodin,

Yes, we will have something fitting for the 8800 series in February.
    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Best Regards,

I thought Thermalright announced that they were planning to make a whole new version for the G80 after they originally said "wait for the bracket"....
