    Simple tests of Asus P5N-E SLI ***56K WARNING***

    The stock BIOS(0202) of this board is really terrible.. I can't oc to 300FSB+..

    After updating it to 0308, I can do some oc now...

    Spec:
    MB: Asus P5N-E SLI
    CPU: Intel C2D E6600 B0
    Cooler: Zalman CNPS7000-Cu
    MEM: AData DDRII 667 1GB*2
    VGA: Elsa 7600gs DDR3 + Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZV9
    HDD: WD 250G 7200RPM 16m SATAII

    No MOD, and No adding any volatge.

    All of the tests are in my Lian-Li case.

    Boot screen (0308 support SLI ready memory)


    450FSB - The highest FSB

    It was quite stable..but I cant pass dual superPi 32m..

    Conlusion:

    I oc the cpu to 350*9(3.15Ghz) and run it 24*7 ...it's okay for me, but I want the better bios to push more FSB

    Upping some voltage will result probally in higher FSB

    I tried to add the CPU voltage to 1.6v and the NB voltage to 1.56v, but didnt gain more FSB ....

    It could be the fact that you have a B0 ES

    Where did you get 0308 bios? Try memory in black slots.

    I got it from one of the friends in taiwan's forum..

    No problem

    No I used 0202 it's ok for me - 450x7 for test already is ok.
