I recieved a small pack...seems a New Year Gift from Geil
when I open it... damn.......Geil PC2-9600 1G*2


Still under test, not officially issued, so "ES" on the mark

how's the performance ?
bellow are the test on a un-moded P5B-Deluxe.
bios set = 2.45v, read from meter=2.43v.

1200 4-4-4-x pi_32m @ 3.6Ghz = 13min01sec, fast ?



more stability test ? dual_pi_32m & sp2004 ?

I asked because they don't mention about using fan on their website. That's for their current highest rated kit PC8500 2.4~2.5V

Imagine what will happen if you don't use fan at 2.5V and how long they will survive. Besides this kit does not have any special heatspreaders like Dominator, for instance

Probably the highest binned stuff from manufactures out there at the moment.

I know default volt is 1.8v, but what if these have binned at higher volts? Don't you think if they were created that way, they may as well adapt to more juice?

Unless under the hood is not GKX and something else, which generates less heat? But what's the chance hehe?

for ram cooling, I think if volt>2.2v, ramclk>1000mhz, must have a ram_cooling_fan.
since it's an ES product, I think geil would include special ram cooling device for the Retail product like corsair8888c4 and Team-9600.

Yes they give life time warrantee but inside Europe only 15 years (max allowed there)

Still an ES it might die in testing or they cancel the project
