    It's locked. Max is 23x like shown.

    Hard to do that especially when the rig keeps shutting down due to overheating.

    Here is the correct screenshot.

    25x max.



    I have to turn it down and rework cooling now.

    Just wondering what case is that (manufacturer/model#)?

    I considered the Quad FX, but with the extreme lack of memory slots, I didn't go ahead with it

    Nice looking rig though...

    Alright, this setup might work out.

    Apparently, Zalman CNPS9700NT AM2 works on socket F cpu retention.

    The problem is with heat. It is idling at 50c and 60 to 70c at load.

    No, the current heat level is fine as long as there is no OC. My S940 opty rig ran fanless in 80c for 2 years without a shut-down. So, 70c is just fine.

    I do need to get another Zalman cooler though. This stock amd heatsink is too loud.

    P.S. CPU-Z does not recognize the CPU. It sees it as S1207 opty.

    CPU2 is on Zalman cooler and was the one that was hitting 90c before I mounted the zalman cooler.

    It was 50c. Now 45c.

    CPU1 is supposed to be the cooler one as it is much closer to middle fan. But meh, only 2c drop with fan running at 6k rpm.

    Dropped a little more voltage and it is managing to stay at 65c at full load.

    You'll have to drop chipset voltage or improve cooling your chipset to correct that. Just be careful about pushing that too far, it can corrupt things crazy fast
