The lousy RAID 0 performance is a feature...

NVidia makes the best chipsets...ask them, they'll tell you. They have our best interests at heart, and have strongly encouraged (forced) enthusiasts to use their chipsets by not permitting SLI on non-NVidia chipsets. This is to preserve the integrity of SLI (hold enthusiasts over a barrel for more money for an inferior product).

I'm sure they'll release a 690i next month that enhances the performance of the 680i by TRIPLING the RAID 0 throughput!!! Wow...we'll all have to get one of those...
