This is the last of my batch of KAB1E 4000+ processors, i've had around 15 of this same stepping and they ALL run 3.1+ghz with less than 1.425v some as low as 1.35v.

    Hello
Maybe you guys can help me.
I would like to put together an overclocked system and by reading the forums, it seems that there are several motherboards that the users prefer.
I have never overclocked a system (have built systems pretty competent) and would like to get your opinions on what is the motherboard and ram to use since these are the main items that determine the speed.
I currently have (2) Intel Kentsfield processors and (1) Intel Core 2 Extreme Conroe X6800. I was planning on using all the cpu's but I guess it depends on how much each system would cost, seems to me they would be very expensive to set up and I may run out of money and only be able to use 1 or 2 of the cpu's.

If anyone can help me with the following:
    1. Motherboard to use and would it work on either of the QX6700 and the X6800?

    2. Ram:
    3. Case:
    4. Should I use air cooled or Water cooled?

    Many thanks in advance.
    Joe
