Smile Low 8800gtx scores, help needed

I've been testing with my 8800gtx since yesterday but the scores are quite low compared to other similar setups. Instead of being around 70-71k, I get 63k, 10% lower than what it should be. In Aquamark 3, I get 180k instead of being in the 210k-215k range

    System specs are: e6700 @3.9Ghz, Bad Axe 2 motherboard, 4gb Team Xtreem @4-4-3-8, 8800gtx @ 678/1062 with 97.02 drivers.

I also did the following minor tweaks found here: http://xtremesystems.org/forums/show...0&postcount=10

Any suggestions are appreciated and welcome

Although 97.44 drivers are not pushing all memory clocks @ where memory clock is,they are much faster than 97.02 in some quick testing I did with single 8800GTX.Try 97.44

the CPU speed is fundamental to 3D01 and AM3, as is LOD. I wont spoon-feed you everything that works for me, but if the LOD is a reasonable + number, that`ll help.

Are video settings set to high performance?

as for drivers 9728 worked best for me in 3D01

Sometimes, it's not your time. Sometimes, you have to make it your time. Sometimes, it can ONLY be your time.

Yes, video settings are set to high performance.

I'll try the 97.28 drivers and adjusting the LOD higher.

I know, I seem to be getting 8800GTS scores instead of 8800GTX scores

The 97.28 and 97.44 drivers give me a few hundred extra points.

LOD that gives best score is 3 (maximum in Rivatuner), 3d01 score is still only 64.7k
