Watch out for DD high flow 1/2" fittings. They are knowingly shipping out bad fittings with the threads all srewed up.
I emailed them about it after my SECOND BIX (a BIX and a BIX-II) arrived with screwed up fittings. They replied that they knew about it and were TRYING to fix the problem. Good thing I had a tap and die set or I would have been SOL. They clean up with a good die, so don't go forcing it into your radiator without cleaning them up first.
A good fitting will thread in down to the o-ring seal with no effort. If a fitting does not start in easily, it's one of the bad ones. Clean it up with a die set before trashing your new radiator
