what is the difference on the 3 Lian Li PC-V2000

Iam having some problems find out what the difference is with these 3 cases.

    1 . PC-V2000B http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chass...S_PC-V2000.htm

    2. PC-V2000Bplus http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chass...-V2000plus.htm

    3. PC-V2000BplusII http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chass...2000plus_2.htm

It look like nr 2 has a fan at the Grafikcard and nr 3 also has one.

But I must admit it is very hard to find anything different about them
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I was wondering the same thing. Option three has the most options you can get on the case and the price is about the same for option 2. Does anyone have this case and could give us the answer?

Regular has no special ventilation/fannage for the PCI(e) area, Plus has a blower that's connected to the back of the case (that thinnish area next to the PCI(e) slots), PlusII has a fan over the PCI(e) area with a side panel that has holes in it in that area....the fan can be positioned anywhere (laterally) on that mount. The PlusII can accept any type of 120mm fan on its mount....pretty nifty little thing.

Yep it is. But the Plus II's blower fan needs a whole cut in the side of the case. So you need the fan, fan mount, and Plus II side panel. You can find the Plus II that has a window also and looks quite nice. I have a PC - V1000 Plus II, and I love it.
God's in his heaven, all's right with the world.

It was quite battered and looked like it had been squised quite a bit.
So I took some pictures before opening up to investigate it furthere.

I asked them for a price quote for a new side panel, that was the only thing that was damaged.

Here you se my email and their response, they offered me 10 Euros
I just wanted the coolest case I could find. And they want me to accept the damage to my 250 Euro case with a 10 Euro refund

    Dont they have ensurance ????

I wrote an email to them friday, telling them that they should call TNT and speak to them.
    But they dident reply.
Hope they reply on monday, Meantime I cant use my wather cooling or case. Only spent 850 Euros in total

    Dear Peter,

First off all we would like to apologise for this damage.
As it seems it happened by the shipping company. But at the moment we are
    investigating what happened exactly.
Unfortunately we can't order a new back side by our supplier.

To compensate this damage we are offering you a refund of 10 euro's. Do you
    agree on this ?

If you have any questions left please do not hesitate to contact us.

I got my case V2000+ in june at the same time saw that the PC-V2000BplusII was available in usa. It seems that european support is pretty crap. Have seen upgrade packs from PC-V2000B to PC-V2000Bplus but again only on us sites. I must admit to loving this case but not neing to impressed with regional support.

@Nosfer@tu that is poor hope you get something sorted.

Am just considering modding my case so that i can use a large heatsink on a conroe upgrade. atm most conroe boards have an overhang to the side of the mobo which this case can't handle. i'm going to lower the rear section of the shelf by 3cm.

Have sorted the inverted heatpipe i hope Do Heatpipes work with Mobo Inverted

I just ordered the ASUS P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP Socket T and a Lian-Li PC-V2000plusII case. I'm putting a conroe in it and a tuniq tower 120... Can anyone confirm that this case will accept this board and that the tuniq will fit as well? I've been looking all over forums but I can't seem to find anyone with this case and a P5B board and conroe who has posted anything...what do you guys think?

@mrt2 I think you'll be struggling the intel cpu sockets are further to the side of the board than say a 939 mobo wjich i'm currently running Have doner some estimating in photoshop with pics of asus & abit 775 mobos. I want to use a Thermalright Ultra-120 or the Noctua NH-U12F. I think these have around a 13mm overhang which mean no fit.

The thermalright ultra 120 is 126mm wide
the tuniq tower is 131 or 153mm depending how you orientate it,
Tuniq Tower 120 Cooler Review so i think u may be out of look.

Have just finished the mod of my case to let me have large heatsinke. have cut the shelf & lowered it by 3cm. will post a pic when i get round to it. Mod went pretty well & am chilling with a beer atm. Rig is spread out on coffee table, until i put it back in case tommorow.

    Dear P. M. Kirk,

You can fill in the RMA application form on your account at our webshop, so you can return the package back to us.
If you want we can make a Case with TNT, allthough this will take for months till it is settled.

The choice is up to you.

Supershanks, Excavator from over at the ASUS forum took pics of his Lian-Li inverted V2100 running the p5b-deluxe and fitting just fine in the case.
The cooler he is using however is the Arctic Freezer7Pro... Hopefully my Tuniq will fit, but if not then I will send it back and get the arctic.

Arctic Freezer7Pro is 104mm(L) 58mm(W) from Frezzer 7 Pro Specs so Tuniq Tower is 27mm/2 wide = 0.5" so may be pretty close

let us know what you find please.

Enough room 4 the coolers now,
Only thing left to do is make a 3cm extension to the batten for expansion card, although i don't use it that much.

I used 3cm(1.2") after testing a 2nd psu which leaves around 4cm clearance. I cam't see me using a 2nd psu but u never know. I got the aluminium as offcuts from e-Bay £4 ~ $8. Want to get some edging to put on the lip of the upper shelf.

Hardly need any further drive bays I use 1 of these Scythe Karma Bay can be seen in this shot Karma bay on left side - no fan I find I get best cooling having no fan on the bay but i suspend a silverstone FM121 on the inside of the 51/4" drive bays using large plastic ties, this sucks air in through the karma bay. All 120mm fans are set as intake the only exhaust being the lian-li pci-e cooler.
