The list of fix are :
  • Fix for SATA disk drives
  • Improvements to memory stability and overclockability
  • Disabled spread spectrum tables for improved overclockability
  • Improve POST screen CPU speed reporting


The 23 Bios really seems to improve the overclockability - I find a very nice thing : in previous version any FSB above 1750 (around 430) will result in significative memory performance drop (also quite notorios in 3D mark), with P23 Bios the things changed and now with more than 1800 (450Mhz) the performance does not drop.

Also with P23 Bios memory speed above 1100Mhz seems much more stable..

Here is a Everest Mem Read Bench with the FSB at 457Mhz and the memory at 1170..
