What is there left to fix on this mobo?

I guess it could always be more stable or more compatible with certain hardware, but I am still on the 0614 bios and have no issues with anything.

The signature at 0908 looks convincing though, but I think I will wait !

at least, the 0908 bios fixes the wrong ram/cpu information at boot.

OK, so what is the censuses here. Flash to the Beta 0908 bios, or stick with the 0804 bios? I get my motherboard x-mas day, otherwise I would be installing them and figuring it out myself. I just dont want anyone thinking im to lazy to try this out myself :-]

If you read this whole thread, you'd notice that there is no consensus, because no one has tested this bios adequately enough to know if it is better yet.

    ASUS P5B-D WiFi
    e6600 @ 3.40GHz
    Corsair DDR2-800 2x1GB
    Sapphire ATI X1900XTX
    Scythe Infinity w/ FCG's mod
    1 74GB WD Raptor HDD
    2 x 250GB Samsung SP2504C HDD
    OCZ 700W GameXtream PSU
    Thermaltake Armor w/ side fan

    Soon to be retired.

This is a internal BIOS release designed to improve memory compatibility and to address a couple of timing issues with the on-board ADI audio that is causing hiss and static in certain situations.
