Im going to return this pos to newegg. (the mobo)

    First mobo.

    http://www.evga.com/community/messag...erms=dayofpain

    Second mobo.

    Installed last night.

Have to remove power and use cmos jumper to boot EVERY SINGLE TIME. beta bios flashed. Too bad everysingle resistor on the board needed to be straightened. 2 were bent all the way to the ram slots. gfg.

cant boot cant maintain voltage. and this is one that they handpicked for an advanced rma.

later evga. 2 strikes ur out.

2 thousand dollars in ram. Thanks.

Thats horrible I`d chase EVGA for some reimbursement. $2K is too much to lose.

@midnightmadness...didnt notice your timings were different between the runs.

Updated. Just to remind ppl...please no 680I mobos

I don't understand the logic behind excluding 680i boards. Are you suggesting the results with 680i are bogus? When RD600 comes out, you are probably going to see high memory clocks similar to 680i. Are you going to exclude them too?

yup! Someone sugggested 600MHz was too easy. It looks like 600MHz is very easy on 680I, as is 600MHz from 2x512 RAM.

I`m happy to leave this thread just for 2x1GB RAM, and 975/965 chipsets. A 650MHz/700MHz club can be made for 680I. 680I will make 965/975 results look like less of an achievement.
