krueml_, what liquid are you using and does it give you any problems with clogging up your Storm? The green looks sick.

2 drops of green UV Dye from DangerDen and Zerex.
At the moment there still aren't any problems with clogging the Storm.

@jan: Much worse. Even the bigger 10/8 has like 80% less area than 7/16" tubing. Big difference on the newer blocks!

@jupiler: Yes, as soon as it's ready! Why are you teasing me, I'm only working on it for a year and a half now? Well well...

PS: Planning on getting it ready at the end of this year... maybe +2-3 weeks, we'll see.

I originally planned to build a "addon" under the case from my old one to place the rad in, but my old case was not as wide as this one so this was easier in the end. I also don't like fullsize cases that much

Yea, Kris had two of em for his dual proc xeon setup awhile back. He loved those blocks, I'm sure he missed them, but I bet he's glad to know atleast one is in good hands.

I've been lurking here for a while to learn as much as I could about watercooling, and all of you helped me quite a bit, thanks. I figured I'd share the results with you.

I originally installed this system in August, but I was never happy with it, so I never posted it. I didn't like the tubing hanging out the back, the pump placement was cramped, and the res and pump were not firmly mounted to the case. I didn't want to cut my case. Here's the original setup. The res is a Swiftech MCRES-MICRO sitting in the 5.25" area.




And the new setup. Got over my fear of cutting my case. One of my white CCFL's decided to die on me during all this, so thats missing in the pics, but will be replaced soon.

he cut a hole in it didnt he? he used the window molding too. It looks good! what case is that?

**Here's mine: 2x120mm rads (two different rads - swiftech mcr-120 and BIP) and apogee, mcw60, bunch of copper bga sinks, dcc pump (love it) and 120x38 panaflo medium speeds.





*fan on tubes doesnt have that duct no it anymore, and its to cool the mobo mosfets and those 3 ics that get hot with the vmem mod on my 79gt. I have those big copper sinks on every mosfet on the card and the memory and those 3 ics. Also have a 80mm panaflo blowing across the video card from the front to back.

The original setup is 7/16" and the tubing passes through without any cutting, barely. The new is 1/2" and I used a dremel to widen the opening and stuck in a rubber grommet.

XFxGeforced, its a LL V1000B. Btw, nice job with the P180, yellow looks good with the LP board.

Did you see an improvement in temps going from a MCRES to a Fillport T-Line? Or is it for convenience?

IanY, I didn't see any temp differences between the two setups, but I'm not using what most here would call accurate temp measuring. The primary reason for it was I wanted to move my pump to where the res was, and the pump and res wouldn't fit there together without tight turns in the tubing. The T-Line kept the loop as simple and short as possible.
