    • Expansion Slots
      # 3 PCI Express x16 slots for ATI CrossFire and ATI Physics 2+1 Configuration (2 Graphics + 1 Physics)
      - 2 ATI CrossFire graphics cards (each operates at x8 bandwidth).
      - 1 ATI Physics graphics card operates at x2 bandwidth.

but overall the boards could be better then intels 975x chipsets, we will see...
What's wrong with supporting Ati's physics? Better that then nVidia's.

I don't care about the 1*16X or 2*8X. I just hope that the Raid is PCi-E connected...

If not then the chipset is quite cheap on Pci-E lanes...

LOL....Yeah, but taking into account, the huge amount of collective Pi$$ that has been dribbled about this board as well, ......that forest fire of A$$ hair shouldn't really be a problem!

OK guys I have the board running. I am learning the settings so just booting to memtest.

I have no idea on max fsb so DON'T ASK.

NB and mem options are overwhelming on this board, I will be at this for some time and yes you will need a guide to have ANY idea how to set this puppy up.

More to come soon, let me learn the board and I will get posting.

should be sick, now it's just the small matter of getting my mitts on one.

I thinks these are gonna be in short supply, or we're gonna be told they are by retailers if you know what I mean...

What'll be interesting is how the mem speeds hold up under high fsb, 980i does just about 1000mhz real rock stable when fsb is near 1900 under full load for a few hours.

I bet Oskar has given us a crazy plethora of options again, looking forwards to your guide Tony, I'm glad they gave you a board pr release really as you're the right person to get to grips with the bios, and get things upto speed at launch...

    regards

Tony, according to this guy there is a BIOS issue so the board will be delayed another week. Is this guy speaking the truth?

Im always dubious of people with the pre release hardware and a low post count, plenty of strange reviews all over the web atm, things are not always as they initially seem..

VR-Zone posted a news-article about the OCZ APAC Summit 2006, including (among others) some pics of the DFI RD600 running and an interview with our own Tony...
There's even a nice photograph with Tony's face on it. Smile to the camera, Tony

    Enjoy! *click

PLEASE, give us a fair price-point... No more i680-pricing...
The possibility to tweak memory individually looks mighty interesting... Keep 'em coming Tony

No idea of price at this time...not in reality...and the companies making the mobo's don't seem to be gouging...humh? Be Monday or Tuesday before any glimpse into real pricing may surface at my vantage point after contacting those up the ladder in charge. My board scheduled to arrive on Monday...no idea when UPS delivers my area...Fedex main shipper to me...almost forgot...Tony and I should/might/could/hope to hear Monday sometime...just when NDA is going to lift...
