    Well you cant blame intel for that. They are probaly pissed that their low end E6300 was getting massive overclocks and that was decreasing the sales of their higher end parts.

    Lol, I'm not going to stop you. But you have proved that the E6300 can be made faster then their flagship product pretty easily. The 99.5% overclock is one of the many reasons Intel is crippling their cpus

    Does this mean that all the new chips that Intel are going to be putting out will be of this stepping BTW, Cos im about to buy my new rig, using a 6300/6400, and don't really want a crippled chip if you know what I mean

    Oh and BTW, are all low end chips going to be replaced, or just the 6300's?

    Last thing, are these new steppings going to be replacing the old, or just being sold as well as?
