    8800gts?

Im thinking of changing my X1950XTX for a 8800GTS. Would I see a performance increase? My mobo is a Bad Axe rev 304 and a Core 2 Duo 6700ES

What are u smoking? 8800GTS is far better than 1950XTX in the majority of games and close in few plus it has DX10 support.

i`d stick with what you have. Not enough of a gain for it to be worthwhile.

Rumour of 8850GX2 cards and the ATI latest due soonish anyway

8800GTS is faster, but not in relatively low-res situations... When you start cranking up everything, it gets a lot better.. But it's not worth the money spent if you have an X1950XTX, since there are no apps to take advantage of the 8800GTS

If you overclock GTS to GTX speeds, you got nearly same performance card like true GTX, so look at graphs X1950XTX vs GTX and you will see if its worth it ... overclocked GTS performs sometimes better then X1950XTX in crossfire
