Ok...here's mine. back in the saddle. Specs as per signature.

    C2D E6600 Batch# L631B057

This is 100% stable, overnight prime stable, GRAW for several hours, etc.

Burning in and will push higher once more intel OCing experience is gained. I'll tell ya, it's hard switching from A64s after 3 or so years...

That looks like a really nice core hollywood

Very similar to my E66 looking at coretemp VID though mine will run @ 3.60GHz with a lot less Vcore
lots and lots of cores and lots and lots of tuners,HTPC's boards,cases,HDD's,vga's,DDR1&2&3 etc etc all powered by Corsair PSU's

i've just got my e6300 this morning.i am impressed.

i oc'd it to 2.8ghz just to have a dabble and in science mark i got 1600.my d930 at 4.4ghz only got 1448.

i will give it a cuppla hours to settle and try for more.i am well impressed with this chip.i've had amd before and the d930,but this is quite fast.and straight to 400 fsb.with the d930 in this board the most that would do was 250fsb.
i tried super pi too,i got 19secs for the 1mb test.

got to 3.1 now easy.450fsb with ram at 900 1:1

WTF is wrong with the latest E6400s? I just had 2 of them, L629a and L628a that couldnt even run 3.4 Ghz stable. My 6300 can run up to 3.6, but at ultra high FSB speeds. I wanted something that would be less taxing on the chipset - really disappointed in the 6400s though.

your ram will do 500mhz at 5.4.4.9,so why have you got it at 5.5.5.15 at only 480mhz? surely it will run that 480mhz at slightly lower timings.

on my p5b-d,my 6300 will do 3.5ghz(500fsb) with vcore at 1.4 with ram at 1000 1:1.your ram is rated for 500 anyway,so why not give it a try? temps at that are about 40-41c idle and about 61-63maxxed with a freezer 7 pro.
