Hey,
here are the first pics of the new Cool-Matic G80. Currently the top is made of aluminium, but the final top will be made of PPS/Rayton and it has got a copper core.
It'll be available in 1-2 weeks.
Best regards

Both blocks for the G80 have been super thin... any words on prices?
It's unfortunate that Innovatek isn't making pure copper blocks- I expect their sales to drop because of that fact.
Copper and aluminum galvanically corrode, eating away at each other. = Bad for watercooling systems.

Shipping from Eddy in Europe is cheaper than shipping fedex from dangerden. Heh. I will never buy an Innovatek product.
yea waiting on Eddy to make one too or DD. It seems like everyone else has already started, i hope they are in the process to make one, the sooner the better..

The Innovatek block looks like crap maximus. The BFG card already features a first class, gorgeous 1/2' ID Danger Den block. Why would anyone want that tiny 10mm ID German block?

Looks kind of similar to the Innovatek...but I don't think it is....looks all copper too, anybody wanna guess who makes it?
EDIT: well, if I read ANY of the text on that page....I'd have noticed it's DD
Guess that's DD's block![]()

They've been doing so for 9 years and never had any issues with sales, and probably never will. The European mainstream market that they target isn't as obsessive as us...It's unfortunate that Innovatek isn't making pure copper blocks- I expect their sales to drop because of that fact.
BFG and DD did some deal and DD are only surpliing them with BFG and not on there own i hear!!
How ever the price for the card with it and OC's is sill when the std non oc'd card is a nice price!
Well count outta that group ... I wish I could order things in the US without paying insane shipping, without delays, etc etcOriginally Posted by Marci

I'm itching to pull the trigger on two BFG/DD cards. That's a $1600 expenditure and I am having cold feet on the cost lol The problem is that one cannot just install a water block on any old retail card without voiding the warranty, which really sux. I personally own two MCW60s and I have even ordered the Swiftech adapter plates. However, I am not going to use those Swiftech items if I am going to immediately void all warranties. What a dilemma!
I come from germany and i can say that i really don't know who buys these blocks LOL must be some mainstream people i never meet in forums...Originally Posted by Marci
There are many alternatives to innovatek blocks here which are either fullcopper, plexi, delrin and mostly more powerful, sometimes also a lot lessflowresistant and most of all cheaper than this one. in a few days so many new fullcover blocks from wellknown big wc companies will popup, well, a new round G80, lets see who wins this time![]()

Nowt wrong with the Innovatek blocks, only ones I could find at the time that would allow me to use all 3 PCI slots (which are populated on my setup) without flexing PCI cards etc. and still leave me with a PCI-e slot to spare, they may not be 'extreme' but still knock over 25 degreesC of load temps on my 7900GTX SLI.
My only critism with the innovatek 7900block I had was that I had to hack the backplate to make it flatter as initially it rubs against the adjacent PCI card, its mnade of plastic so not too difficult but still Innovatek should have done that really as they calim it will allow use of PCI slots, so to the OP (krueml) if you have anything to do with the company get them to sort that out on the 8800s and i'll buy 2, Cheers![]()
