seen 1024MB sticks on Hynix (clocks to 1000MHz) and on Elpida (clocks to ~900MHz)
    vitesta:
must be D9 since it is XTREME RAM , but I`m not quite sure

I have some DDR2-667 2GB Vitesta Values, they're Aeneon chips afaik. Here's with the heatspreaders removed, nice sticker placement..

    They do DDR2-833 4-4-4-12 on 2.2v

    1M Benched @ 2.3v

edit: closer pic of chips fyi

lawrywild - your Vitesta sticks are based on Powerchips for sure. My Twinmos Twister 2x1GB DDR2 800 sticks are based on them as well and can stably do a bit more than DDR2 800 4-4-4-x @1.8V.

No, Aeneon, a part of Infineon.

And Kiwi, I paid £90 for these, half the price of Teamgroup DDR2-667 here

Nope, you're wrong. This is not Aeneon for 100%. The markings are charactiristic for powerchips.

    Can you see the similarities?

Aeneon IC looks like the attached image. It's completely different.

Anadtech did a review on the 5300s and ID them as ediphia and very overclockable, but maybe they have changed since then.

Vitesta DDR2 533 and 667 used to use elpida ICs, yet recently they've been using powerchips ICs. Hard to say which of the two ICs are better. Both can reach DDR2 1000.
