i don't know if there'd changed or not
half year a go ,both 1024/512 ddr2-800, i tested, 512 is Elp/1024 is Hyn

urm... doesent sound to bad... even do i would realy like some d9's.... but the are like 50 euro's more.. and kind of dont wane go and spend 50 euro's more on ram.. and not gone go for 500fsb on my cpu... 400fsb woud be more then enof for me.. or i have to get me a e6400 insted of e6600... lol

I have some DDR2-667 2GB Vitesta Values, they're Aeneon chips afaik. Here's with the heatspreaders removed, nice sticker placement..



They do DDR2-833 4-4-4-12 on 2.2v

1M Benched @ 2.3v

lawrywild - your Vitesta sticks are based on Powerchips for sure. My Twinmos Twister 2x1GB DDR2 800 sticks are based on them as well and can stably do a bit more than DDR2 800 4-4-4-x @1.8V.

Nope, you're wrong. This is not Aeneon for 100%. The markings are charactiristic for powerchips.

Can you see the similarities?


Aeneon IC looks like the attached image. It's completely different.

well i asked someone at adata an they only guarantee spec so there is no certainty of the chip you can get.

Anadtech did a review on the 5300s and ID them as ediphia and very overclockable, but maybe they have changed since then.

Vitesta DDR2 533 and 667 used to use elpida ICs, yet recently they've been using powerchips ICs. Hard to say which of the two ICs are better. Both can reach DDR2 1000.
