lawrywild - your Vitesta sticks are based on Powerchips for sure. My Twinmos Twister 2x1GB DDR2 800 sticks are based on them as well and can stably do a bit more than DDR2 800 4-4-4-x @1.8V.

Nope, you're wrong. This is not Aeneon for 100%. The markings are charactiristic for powerchips.Originally Posted by lawrywild
Can you see the similarities?
Aeneon IC looks like the attached image. It's completely different.

well i asked someone at adata an they only guarantee spec so there is no certainty of the chip you can get.
sorry for the not so good help
Anadtech did a review on the 5300s and ID them as ediphia and very overclockable, but maybe they have changed since then.
Vitesta DDR2 533 and 667 used to use elpida ICs, yet recently they've been using powerchips ICs. Hard to say which of the two ICs are better. Both can reach DDR2 1000.
thnx for al the info peeps... i think ill get me them 2gb of adata's there cheap and don’t sound to bad to me.. ill lat you now how the do.. lol if any body is interested in that![]()
