I just received a E6600 from NewEgg and it was L629Bxxxx

So far its been 3DMark2001 and superPI 32M stable at 460x8 and 1.18v (3680MHz). It was also 3DMark stable at 500x6, didnt try superPI.

It was also superPI stable at 430*9 (3870MHz) but crashed halfway through 3DMark. I'm going to try higher voltages tomorrow to see if I can stabilize it at 4GHz but Im pretty happy so far - I wasnt expecting to OC more than 3.2GHz. I'll probably drop it to 460x8 for 24/7 usage though if its stable enough.

PS - Board is P5B Deluxe, Memory G.Skill HZ 2x1GB and Scythe Infinity for cooling.

PPS - Shipped from CA even though Im in NY.

    It is a great chip!

I can do 3.6ghz 24/7 with about 1.45-1.5V which is a hell of a lot better than my old E6600 Week 28A.

I just want to be able to reach 4ghz for the hell of it!

Maybe we should request "a reputation points" sytems here @ xtremesystems!

There's some guys that really deserve some sort of "credit" or reputation!

FCG, Coolaler, Andre Yang, Victor, OPB......

Hmmm....I have a "B" but it seems typical to me. I can get 3.6 GHz totally stable (orthos and game) on air but my volts are about 1.56 or so and my temps about 60*C. Are those stellar or something? I always felt my volts and temps were annoyingly high, but that's what I need for stability at 3.6.
