    Help Needed Please

I am currently building a new system with the following:

    Intel Core Duo E6700
    Asus P5B - Deluxe
    Patriot PC2-8000 Operating at 1000MHz
    WD Raptor 150GB SATA 10,000rpm
    GeForce 7900 PCI-E

Assembling system on a PC workbench before I tear down my current rig and swap out the guts. I can get the board to fire up, but I am not getting any video or a post beep from the speaker?

I switched out the 7900 for a standard PCI video card, but still nothing.

    Any suggestions???

That mobo will beep when it posts though. So you should be getting some kind of beep if your are turning it on. My guess is the processor is not seated correctly or possible memory.

I really cannot tell if it is booting or not. I am not getting any video or the beep. I have tried seating the memory as dual channel and inline. Are you saying that I may have a compat issue with the memory. The guy that sold me the stuff uses the same config item for item.

Ahh tu waaa Chewbacca! I did not install the 4 or 8 pin connector! Gotta put the kids to bed, but will try that next. Thanks! I hope that does the trick. I am psyched out of my shoes to get this beast running!
