Rumour Mill: X1950 Pro coming to AGP from Sapphire??

I was reading a review and heard something kinda interesting.

not a big deal, but it is kinda interesting to hear another AGP card is in the works... possibly.

For those of you with AGP systems, we’ve heard that Sapphire is prepping an AGP X1950 Pro card as we speak. We weren’t able to get independent confirmation on this from Sapphire, but if true this card could become the AGP upgrade of choice for a lot of users if the price and performance pan out.

    2Nd to the last paragraph.

"The command and conquer model," said the EA CEO, "doesn't work. If you think you're going to buy a developer and put your name on the label... you're making a profound mistake."

Plus they have plans on bringing whole x1650 line to agp as well....ever since Realto, AGP has become too easy for ATI.

The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

It will oversaturate the AGP bus I think. A generatino ago it would have been welcome.
