well...I tried 711, and already I've had two reboots! I cleared CMOS just in case, and after about 5 minutes or so of messing around the computer, it reboots on its own.

Also, when booting up, it took forever to detect the RAID drives...it kept saying
ACHI 0....yada yada
ACHI 1....yada yada
and then it would continue....

thirdly, Superpi decreases slightly on this run...
with 711, 1M = 18.450
with 614, 1M = 18.025

so I went back to 614....no problems so far, and steady. I think I will wait for the next BIOS upgrade and see how it does.
