    E6600 OEM (open box)@564FSBx8, Vapochill LS, SPI 32M time.

    Just got my second E6600, this time an OEM (open box) from newegg.
    My other E6600 cannot come close to this FSB with the exact same setup, at any multiplier.
    This chip also does 4.57ghz@1.84vcore SPI 1M stable on the vapochill, 70mhz better then my other chip.

    E6600 OEM week 27, 1.84vcore @ 4.512ghz = vcore mod
    G.Skill PC2-6400 HZ's @ 2.66vdimm = vdimm mod
    P5B-Deluxe with HR-05 NB cooler

    The cpu did come in a retail box though, although newegg sold it as OEM.

    Picture of setup.

    SPI 32M Result.

    For 32M i'm going to have to say no, 565fsb wasn't stable enough for it. And thats about all the memory has in it, so this is about it till some dry ice action. I can't run subs quite as tight as you bachus.

    The 6400C3 I've been using is doing really great, with low volts and as low sub-timmings as I can boot at (all of them I set in BIOS). But I can't make it to work for me with TRP=3 @ 550+, no matter what voltage I try - kind of odd. That would give probably around 2s extra (give or take) in 32M

    I wonder what will happen when you put this one on DI as well... Hopefully, this chip will do 32M @ 4.7+GHz, and you'll manage even better result than with your previous E6600 on DI

    I'm still trying to figure out this memory, it may have been overvolted for this run throwing my time off a little.

    Update* Tried to beat your new time of 11:29min bachus, now my memory is not playing nice.

    Here's my best 32M time using x9 multi, still using stock vapochill LS.

    Geez 4.6GHz 32M-stable on VapoLS

    Man, I don't predict my 11:27 to stay up for long as soon as you slap your DI container on it! Awesome, dude It looks like this thing could do 4.8GHz on DI and you might even brush off of 11 minutes. That would rock!

    EDIT: What IDLE/LOAD temps are you seeing in AiSuite or PC Probe II at that voltage (which is?) and 4.6Ghz?

    I havn't check those... the only temps I have checked are bios temps.

    Before lapping
    -2C cpu in bios @ 1.84vcore, SPI 1M max = 4.584ghz

    After lapping
    -7C cpu in bios @ 1.84vcore, SPI 1M max = 4.62ghz

    This chip had one of the worse concaves I have seen out of 3, E6600's.

    That E6600 is definetely a keeper, man! Just for kicks, I upped vcore to 1.84v and my temps in BIOS/Idle PC Probe II are -13C/-15C and I still couldn't do SPi1M @ 4.52GHz

    DI dude, DI

    What are the secondary memory settings you have set for above run? Do you have a MemSet screen or perhaps a list from BIOS? I ask, because I think, at 512x9=4608MHz it might be possible to get a better result. Check this out:

    492x9=4446MHz, DDR2-984 4-4-4.0 --> 11:52.250
    494x9=4446MHz, DDR2-988 4-4-4.0 --> 11:49.406
    496x9=4446MHz, DDR2-992 4-4-4.0 --> 11:44.906

    If that is any indication, already at 4500Mhz (I can't try that, unfortunately), it might be possible to hit around 11:36... Just trying to get a fellow 32M'er get that one for your team

    I set my timings in bios and they are actually tighter then your except, tRFC is 25 instead of 20. I think my memory is throwing out a lot of errors at this speed and timings.

    What do you think I should be getting for a 32M at this speed?

    Yea, thanks for the help, your screen shots and all helped a lot. 4.6ghz runs are to hard to complete, so this one was at a slightly lower clock.
