Lightbulb P4gpl-x mod (need more mem?)

Well i did a little mod on my p4gpl-x

Unfortenly i don't have any camera right now, but will try get some pics asap.

    A hint

Well, i sat down doing the Vdimm mod, and i saw that there actually was soldering points for the other Mem-slots, probably the exakt same pcb as P4GD1. So i took a broken motherboard and started desolder a slot.

After maybe 4-5 hours i was finaly done and i had a lose slot to solder on my board. Another hour later i had it fixed on the P4gpl-x

I acctualy thought i had to flash to a P4GD1 bios to get it working, but i had wrong, it worked at once.

Now i need to try this on the IDE-channels and put one more slot so i can use all my 4*256 bh5.

Anyone know how i can get Dual-channel on 3 mems?

    Edit: some spelling

If i don't se it i will try to flash bios

Noticed that i only have 512mb in the bootscreen. So that's probably why it says DC in cpu-z

Congrats ... i know it's alot of work to get the DIMM slot out and resolder it. Good thing they left the termination resistors on the board tho.

    i hava a P4GPL-X too, and i need 2 more RAM-Slots ...

    hm, i need a extra IDE-too,
BUT in BIOS there are 2 or 3 IDE found @ P4GPL-X !
so you dont need 2 fllash i think ... but thats not a problem.
    the ide-controller supports only UDMA100, not UDMA133 ...
    so i bought a pci-IDE controller 133 .....

please post some pics of your mod, THATS REALLY NICE ...
    i dont know how i could connect a extra-ram slot ^^

    PS:
    sorry 4 my poor english

I have all slots soldered now, running 4*256 bh-5 with 3,3v

Also tryed my booster, and it semed to work fine. Else you can do the other Vdimm modd so u can go up to 5v. I had the booster in the slot closest to the ATX and IDE cable
