First test Cellshock 1000 on P5W64-WS PRO !!!

Memory doesn't matter as much in 1M or 2M as in 16M or 32M because of the large L2-cache on Conroe, and that's the reason you only see slight improvement with all that memoryspeed. Try running a comparison on 32M or maybe some 3d (3dm01 loves the memoryspeed)

Thanks - I see. Will try the 0215 BIOS tonite. On this board/chipset I can get better results and more stability when running 1:1 with tighter timings.

Finally the RAM & CPU is better than chipset and/or BIOS, so my hopes are high on RD600..........

Lowered the Vdimm down to 2.25, timings now 3-4-3-4, read delay 5 and voila, 32M below 14min at only 3.6GHz :




Still 0209 BIOS.
