Asus P5W DH Deluxe + 2x SATA Raptor raid0 + SATA Seagate 250GB Storage HD + SATA DVD

    Hi there guys,

i've some problems installing these drives.

As many of you, owners of the P5W DH Deluxe, may know, the mobo has 1 orange SATA slot on the motherboard and 2 Black near the orange one, while at the end of the mobo there are 2 moro SATA Slots called EZ-Raid1 and EZ-Raid2.

Now i must connect and install 2x Raptor 10.000 RPM 74 GB in Raid0 + 1x SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB HD for storage and a SATA Samsung DVD Burner..... i dunno how and where to connect them to let everything work correctly, note that the Seagate must be connected on a SATA2 Slot, which should be the Orange one.

I Can't get the EZ-Raid1 and EZ-Raid2 SATA Slots to work, and i dunno what they are for, i suppose for Raid?

Please show me the way, many thanks to them who will help me

    Regards,
    Michele!

Setup the raptors on the 2 black ICH7 ports, the seagate in the red one.

Then plug the dvd burner into the jmicron port on the motherboard near the I/O end of the board. That'll give you the best performance

    Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic . Hanns.G 28" LCD . Thermalright U120-E . Seasonic S12 600w . Windows 7 Professional E Retail x64 .

yes it's like i figured it out but i've a problem, when i plug the second raptor in the fourth sata port (the second black one) it doesn't work, i mean during the starting bios post it is stopped on that screen trying to recognize the fourth ide slave drive......

    any info in this?

ATM I'm using seagate on the sata port at the end of the mobo (near the usb ports) and the two raptors one on the red port one on the black port, and the dvd on the remaining black port.... if i try to connect the raptor on the fourth sata black port it doesn't work, dunno why .(
