Well right now I can't change any dies.

That mobo can go higher "normally" on a Conroe. Kentsfield is going to behave differently for sure, but you may need to consider the ram your using, and that the P5WDG may not like it.

Board does 458MHz with my memory on my E6300.

The heat goes up fast on Kentsfields oc'd, so I'm guessing you've used the multi to go up to test how far the cpu is capable of first yes?

I can't raise the multi at all. If it does 9*300, one would think it'd do 266*10.

The Q6600 ES "should" be open multi yes. But bios can limit this - have you updated the bios?

Well I've tried all the beta bioses that actually give the multi option.
