    Asus P5B Deluxe (P965) & X1900CF/XTX 3DMark05 Results

Mild overclock on the X1900 cards. Each are running at 680/800 on silent air (Accelero X2). PCI-e bus is overclocked to 120MHz. I assume the system is running the cards in 8x/4x mode but this is hard to verify at this time as CPU-Z still reports the primary video card at a 16x link speed. Crossfire definately works though. CPU is set to 7x533 = 3.73GHz, memory @ DDR-1066, 4-4-4-10.

And here's what I got on a first run. I'm sure there's more but my goal is silence. Remember, this is all air and quiet air at that!

Yep with new P5w dh 1405 bios you will see performance improvements up to 10% in most game titles compared to the previous bios.

Thank you very much for the effort freecableguy. THis along with that review on Anandtech show me that I can more than live with the performance loss and not buy another motherboard! Thanks again!

notice too that this is with BIOS 0614 - no "special" BIOS is required for crossfire to work although i am sure a new BIOS will definately help performance.
