Newer F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ (with Micron D9GMH) should do that well as long as you void the warranty and increase voltage over rating on sticker, there's lot of overclockings with those in Xtreme Bandwidth forum.
So if you keep warranties as overrated at least that G.Skill should do the job.

OCZ's warranty would cover up to 2.31V ("2.2V +/-5%") but I haven't seen what chips they use, Driver Heaven didn't look that or do more specific overclocking.

If you want to stay inside warranty and can find OCZ 7200 Platinums for that price those should do it easily inside warranty.

I got those OCZs for near same price as G.Skills would have been but don't yet have all parts ready and might not have time to start assembling new PC for couple days.

OCZ will hit DDR-1000 CAS4 with ease.

    F2-5400CL3D-2GBGA or F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ

Both should do it easily and are the cheapest on the list.
Somebody told here that GA series has GKX chips. HZ series has GMH.

    DDR1000 ? wouldn't it be DDR2 1000 ? I was unaware of any DDR that would run at 500fsb!

5400-GAs are very tempting but no one here has tested those sticks so not 90% sure too reach DDR21000 with nice latencies

Teamgroups 667-C3 are also very cheap (255usd) and they have a lot of user recomendations.

    Any other picks?

my team xtreem 667 is hitting 1000 at 4-4-4-4 right now (i think it will do it on less than the current 2.2v, too)

anyone know much about tras? i used to be doing 4-4-4-8, and found that 4-4-4-4 is stable too... i remember something about higher values being better sometimes... or should i jsut go as low as i can?

For Super Pi higher tras sometimes is better... 2-2-2-5 vs 2-2-2-11 = better 2-2-2-11

Geil Ultra DDR2-800mhz (the "Racing Orange" heatsink ones) will do 1150MHz at CAS4-4-4-4 timings with just 2.2v.
It was a long road and one that is now over. Behold the updatedrig:

    2.2v or less
i only say that because i see no point in lowering it when 2.2v is still under warranty and it isnt getting hot
    orthos stable but of course

I had the Supertalent DDR2-1000 and it did that very well without much fiddling (had to sell it to go more than 2x1 GB).
