on air cooling I got 515-520 too (on p5b dlx)
two things i did, ss and ac
ss the cpu
temp in bios...
ac on the nb, I used the ac in my room to cool directly the nb with a little fan and a long sleeve.
btw, i removed the nb "asus" metal sticker for better air flow.
I feel the mem gave up, @ 564 5-6-6 @ 2.45v...
