    Testing X1950 Master ~82k in 01 aircooled

I started testing the X1950 Master card yesterday and have to say that I am impressed by the gain it has to offer just by higher memory bandwidth on the compiling master card. Atm I don't have a X1950XTX card (getting it back the coming week) just in time for some solid gpu-mousepots. So I had to use a X1900XTX.

    X6800 @ 4679MHz (-90C)
    X1950Master @ 681/1143MHz
X1900XTX @ 681/870MHz (the mem on this card is just terrible)

The ambient temp was over 24C (the cascade for the cpu is warming up the room).

Cpu can du over 5GHz for 3D with liqiud nitrogen. Gpus can do above 900MHz without vmod single on a -95C cascade.

Lookin good. Seems like the gains are definitely showing in nature...even with the slave running so slow. The other tests though look pretty "normal" for the clocks, drags included. Two X1950's should be monstrous.

Actually if you compare to perdo and rickys results on much higher gpu and also cpu there clearly are some gains in all tests that are equally gpu and cpu dependent. Maybe it is Catalyst 6.8.

This should be well enough for some Wr's and 90k+

Interesting, thanks for share.. i was ask me if this will be possible make this match and how it will work.. i plan take a X1950 Master and put my X1900XTX in sys, and then take a second X1950 before plan switch fot DX10 card when needed..

Wow.. rarely see the X1900XTX take 870mhz memory on air.. nice card you have there.

No the problem is in the drivers or in the bios. All tools use the same driver-level clock setting. Not like beta 14 that changes the actuall clock on the card.
